I’ve spent more than 30 years in mathematics education as a classroom teacher, math coach, professional learning designer, and instructional leader.
Across those roles, I kept seeing the same challenge: schools can invest in strong curriculum, coaching, and intervention and still have students experiencing inconsistent mathematics instruction.
That is what led me to create Accelerate Math.
What I Believe
Strong mathematics instruction requires more than the right curriculum.
Teachers need the knowledge, support, systems, and instructional conditions that allow students to think, reason, make sense of mathematics, and engage in meaningful learning.
